Nick's career to date

Nick started out life his professional career learning sales the hard way; using the phone book to cold call homes in the evening to sell gym memberships, before moving on to excelling at selling luxury cars and houses in London. It was here that Nick became fascinated in, and inspired by the infrastructure that underpins the continued success in high performance in teams.


This led Nick into the software and consultancy industry, rising quickly through the ranks at a niche software firm and consultancy partner of IBM, before founding Sempre Analytics in 2011.  In the following 8 years, Nick grew Sempre into a multi-million pound, multi-discipline consultancy business.

During this time, Nick's passion for developing robust, scalable, structures expanded into defining his own unique blueprint for growth, incorporating both the success (and failures) at Sempre, and proven practice from the other organisations he worked at.

Nick exited his operational role at Sempre in 2019, and whilst still involved in the scaling of the business as Chairman, spends his time building out his advisory practice, Vicit Ltd. Vicit aims to support founders and exec teams of technology and consultancy companies in their pursuit of growth as well as investing in, and advising, Tech Start-ups in the AI and Blockchain space. 


With his spare time, Nick travels to tourist-free, wildlife-rich corners of the world, and trains for long-distance events.
